What age did you child start sleeping with a pillow?

My LO is 2.5 and she started resting her head on her stuffed animals so I decided to get her a pillow but I’m nervous about it. Just wondering what other moms did and what age your child started using one.

Just before 2 when she was so congested and doctor recommended propping her up with it

2.5 we got her a toddler pillow that's really flat off Amazon. She mostly uses it to cover her head though. We waited until she showed interest in pillows but I was worried about the same thing so we opted for a toddler pillow over a regular pillow

2 when he went to a twin bed but he didn’t really sleep on it much until closer to 3. He’d start on it and then end up elsewhere.

I recently gave my 18 month old one for one nap, and she said she didn’t like it lol So I haven’t offered it again since. I just keep it in her room and I figure I’ll offer it to her again whenever she shows any interest in it.

18 months i started a toddler pillow and my son loves it and now at almost 3 he uses a full size memory foam pillow and is very particular about it lol

2,5 years old is generally a convenient age. You can try with a small toddler pillow and see.

I think 18 months-2 years. She took one of our small decorative pillows. Then I got her a small character head pillow a couple Christmases ago that she uses now (and refuses anything else)

I believe the safe recommendation is over 1 year of age. 
Just get a flat toddler pillow.  She'll be fine.

My daughter had a cold around 15 months and every time she was flat on her back for nap times she would choke on snot/saliva . I gave her one of my large flat decorative pillows so she would be propped up a tiny bit and it helped her. The pillow just stayed with her after that.
