Shingles at 39 and 1 day?

Has anyone experienced having shingles? I am 39 weeks and 1 Day and I just got back from the ER they said they didn't want to give me medications to make an appointment on monday with my midwife see what they want to do about it. Just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this and what happened?
