Estrogen priming?

Hi friends!

It’s been a while since I’ve joined one of these groups. I did my first round of IVF in January 2021 then our second round a few months later in July. We only got one embryo cycle #1 (failed transfer) and cycle #2 was a complete failure with no embryos at the end of it. We are about to jump into our 3rd cycle with a new clinic and an entirely new protocol. Feeling cautiously optimistic as we move forward with a clean slate.

This will be my first time using estrogen priming as my suppression. My new doctor feels that I was overly suppressed in previous cycles so she’s electing to go this route. I went in for mid-cycle labs to confirm ovulation then began taking 4mg Estrace a day until my period comes. Today is day 12 of Estrace and also my expected CD1. Just wondering if the meds will cause a delay or if my body should stay on schedule? I have very regular cycles naturally so I wasn’t sure what to expect on that end. Knowing we will have a 4 hour commute to our clinic this week for a baseline scan right in the middle of my busiest season at work has me a ✨tiny✨ bit stressed about the timeline of it all 😂 but there’s never a convenient time for IVF, is there?
