Are cramps on the pill normal?

So I'm in the second week of my pill pack (I'm taking apri and it's a combination pill) and I'm getting cramps similar to those one gets on their period. Is that normal?

Completely normal
I get exactly the same. Usually towards the end of my last line of pills, I get a similar pain to that of having my period. It's completely normal
