Nobody probably cares lol but I need to share my pride 😍

my son is swimming!

Wait to be impressed lol.. because he's not ACTUALLY swimming.. but when I hold him he's flapping his arms and legs asif he is.

He's not at all keeping himself up whatsoever.. but I mean I am just very proud of him because he's actually trying.

So when we're in the pool I just support his belly from below and he's keeping himself stable by kicking his legs and paddling with his hands like he's a swimming dog.

I obviously have no pictures or videos of him swimming because no phone in the pool and no hands free to hold the phone 😅

I just wanted to share because I think this is huge.

My stepkids all can't really swim, and it gives me terrible anxiety when we're near water. I had extensive swimming lessons before I turned 1yo and was in public swimming lessons between 3 and 12 yo even multiple times per week. swimming is my second nature. I tried to teach them but it's like teaching someone how to breathe.. swimming feels so evident that I don't know how to teach. Anyways that's probably partly why I am so proud.
