Due to childcare restrictions for my 3 year old we've been a bit backed into a corner. I'm a week overdue tomorrow and while I'd rather wait for spontaneous labor, we're out of options on our end.

My first was a cesarean due to stall labored. Had originally planned a cesarean that I had to reschedule (got insanely sick and son had croup) but was honestly thankful for excuse to cancel.

Cesarean got rescheduled to tomorrow without a discussion and I was still crazy dreading it. Called this morning and apologized for being a flake but any way to try induction and if it doesn't go perfectly opt for repeat cesarean before I strain body.

I am just so hopeful for a VBAC for an easier recovery. This pregnancy has been super tough due to SPD and I just want to be able to hike and do things with my son (and soon to be daughter) again.

Any successful induction or VBAC stories or anything to bring and help prepare is greatly welcomed 🥰
