Second Time moms- How much quicker was your second labor?

For my first labor, I realized I was in labor at 8 PM went straight to the hospital, by 10pm I was 10cm. I labored down for a while and started pushing at midnight and my son was born at 2 in the morning. During this time, we only lived about 10 minutes away from the hospital. Well, we’re moving and it looks like for my second birth we’ll be about 40 minutes away from the birthing center. I’m a little nervous because I’ve heard that the second labor goes so much quicker than the first and I don’t want to be giving birth on the side of the road.
