Need positive vibes.
Hello everyone I started the LPN program last august. This semester I was taking med surge, psych, ob peds. I had a 70% in the class and withdrew on April first. I need a 80% to pass and there was only two weeks left. I was told to retake the failed class this summer with psych being offered in summer and ob/peds and med surge in fall. Now the class isn’t being offered because it is full when I talked to a counselor I was told there was room yesterday. I checked today and now there’s no room and the second half of the classes aren’t going to be offered until spring of 2024. So now I’m thinking of finishing my RN prereqs and applying for Fall of 2023. I’ll have to retake my teas exam again but it’s version 7. I feel like a failure because now I won’t graduate until 2025. I will be 32 years old. I was told I was automatically going to be enrolled for this summer class and now it’s full and I’m pushed back even more. I feel sad and upset. Did anyone else take long to finish nursing school. I started this journey in 2018. 😞😞😞
