I started collecting BM/colostrum about a week ago now maybe two I can't remember, and I've got a decent supply to take with to the hospital, but I'm starting to get nervous . The syringes I ordered to store it in didn't come with caps! So I've been filling them up to 9ml and letting the last ml just be air so they wouldn't bust or over flow when they froze. I did store them all in a large ziplock bag, but I'm starting to wondering if that's not considered sanitary, and it will all be a waste ? 😞

I'm so upset with myself about this. Baby is being taken out Friday morning with a IUGR diagnosis, I know I won't be able to hold him for a couple hours due to the spinal block (my daughter was delivered the same way, with the same diagnosis and I couldn't lift my arms for a good three hours.)

I just wanted to provide something for him to eat after coming out , my daughter was immediately given a formula bottle and I wanted to prevent that. 😞
