When to lower crib??

Hey moms! My 8 month old is now standing. So the crib is at the middle setting, not the top but not all the way to the floor. Should I lower it to the floor now that she’s standing in her crib. Her head is above the rail but I think it would take a lot for her to fall. But also don’t want to find out!

We never did the middle level. As soon as she was standing we put it on the lowest. Not worth the risk.

We lower it every time my sons upper chest (like where the seat belt buckle goes) is at the top rail. It’s so hard to bend down into. He’s 20 months and it’s lowered to the very bottom now.

I believe you're supposed to lower it to the lowest level as soon as baby is sitting up so definitely do it now!

Why are you opposed to just moving it now? Just move it now. It’s not a big deal. Don’t overthink it.

We lowered when he was standing. But the top was at his lower chewt level so for sure, he started to climb.
Yous actually sounds like, I would not lower it if only his head is over the edge.
