Best way to cover tattoos?

I have some tattoos that I need to cover up for some up coming events. 
Whats the best stuff to cover them? Is there a foundation or concealer or stuff actually made for specifically covering tattoos? Will it rub off onto clothes etc?

I had a few of my tattoos covered for my wedding. I just went to a makeup artist and had them air brushed. It doesn’t smear, or rub off on clothing, doesn’t drip with sweat or anything. It was wonderful. There are a few products out there specifically made to cover tattoos but I don’t know how reliable they are as I’ve never tried them. I suggest finding something and trying it out for an entire day to see how it worlds for you.

How big is the area you need covered? They have body foundation that covers tattoos, and I've seen people set it with powder so it doesn't transfer.

dermablend is a good one! i think they still have it at walmart, if not they have it on amazon. & it doesn’t transfer onto clothing. you have to remove it with oil because it’s hard af to get off lol

I have a small hand tattoo and cover it up for work
I use a primer then derma blend foundation and set it with a setting spray and powder after to leave it not looking Cakey 
It doesn’t rub off naturally or get on my clothes 
 but I do reapply to some areas after I wash my hands.
