I dont think so. If you just had it done its normal for it to be red and sore for at least a week I would say. Are you using sterile saline/wound wash? I recommend using that instead of using homemade stuff. You can try saline soaks as well, you fill a shot glass or a small cup with saline and basically suction cup it to your belly lol and leave it for around 15 minutes. Avoid touching it especially without washing your hands, avoid high rise anything because it will irritate it, and try not to sleep on it. I wouldnt worry unless you see deep red streaks, pus, fever, or worsening pain. If it does end up like that do NOT take the jewerly out as the infection can get trapped.

Just normal redness, it is still brand new. Try not to touch it without washing your hands first. Signs of infection is a circle of redness that gets bigger and is inflammed and warm to the touch.

I wouldn't say infected. Some redness is normal but if it gets worse you should definitely contact a professional, keep on with saline but don't overdo it, also NEVER use oxygenated water.

take a shot glass, fill with warm water & some salt. it will draw out any infection within it. have it sit with your hand on top of the shot glass for about 10-12 minutes.
repeat about 2-3x a day. pat it dry with CLEAN hands & some tissue.
don't fiddle with it especially when your hands can be dirty and transmit germs to that area. let it heal, it will take time. the piercer should have shared healing information with you about the process.

Isn’t three times a day with saline like way too many. Also it doesn’t look that infected. And don’t mess with it all the time. It’s supposed to be left alone until it heals.
