Need advice

Alexis

My 14 month old is walking now and has been for a couple of months, and when she does she points her feet inward. To preface, I typically never have shoes on her besides for family events/cute pictures. Could that have something to do with it? I just noticed when my MIL said something to me a couple of days ago, but now I'm seeing it everytime she's walking around and it's making me anxious. I'm going to bring it up to her pediatrician but is there any advice for before then?

When you say her feet are inward do you mean like how tommy pickles walked with his toes facing each other? Or is her foot completely inward? The reason I ask is because Kobe is both bowlegged and his toes are like Tommy pickles and his pediatrician said it is ok he will straighten out and since he doesn’t have balance issues there is no extra cause for concern. My nephew was the same way when he was 1 and now he is 10 and has walked normal since he was about 2 years old.

Oh ok then yea then Kobe has that. And I was told it’s normal. He will grow out of it without needing any corrective devices. So I would say you may get the same response

Yes like Tommy pickles! Except not as drastically as Tommy pickles, but definitely noticeable if you point it out

See what your ped says, but my son's straightened out. Being barefoot is the best thing for them, according to my doctors and nurses!

Okay thank you! Because of this my MIL has been telling me I have to keep shoes on her at all times and I told her it's better to be barefoot
