So I left my old job bc of shitty management and no hours, I got this new job and yesterday I went in. There was a coworker I didn’t know and the manager had told her to tell me to call her when I got there.

The coworker had no idea what I was supposed to be doing and I didn’t either because in the mornings our manager always appoints us to the most needed things in the store. I usually do back room bc I haven’t been trained in the front but it was locked up.

So I called the manager, no answer. Waited a few minutes and called again, no answer. So I texted her letting her know I was at the store.

I stood there for 30 minutes until the girl behind the desk told me to call the store the manager was at, called twice and no answer.

An hour goes by and she finally calls me, at this point I’m already pissed and about to leave. I answer her call and she tells me that I’m in the back and the coworker had the key the WHOLE TIME!!!

There is absolutely no communication between manager and employee at this store apparently.

So I go in the back and do my thing, it took forever nothing was working right and I barely made it through the day. My coworker was pissed bc we had an online order and couldn’t authorize it without a manager code.

She called both managers and none of them answered and even called another coworker at the other store to try to get her to get the managers on the phone but no luck!

She even called the store the managers were at and no one answered!!

Easy to say that online order couldn’t be picked up.

Today my friend was going in for training and had to sit outside for 30 minutes bc the doors were locked and lights were off. The associate inside didn’t even know she was coming for training today!!!

She had to call the manager and OF COURSE got no answer. After 30 minutes the manager called her back and she was able to get inside.

What is it with these jobs I’m getting?! I honestly just cannot understand why there’s NO COMMUNICATION from any managers to the employees when they know they have new hires coming on and have people who are trying to get work done.

At this point I don’t know what to do! It’s ridiculous.

I can’t just bounce from job to job but every one I end up at is shit! It’s not even the work that I don’t like it’s the rude comments from managers, no communication at all, leaving employees to just figure it out when they know with certain things we can’t authorize them without their approval.

Having no manager at the store shouldn’t be okay! We’ve had 2 managers quit this job and now I’m seeing why.

I literally have no ever-loving idea what to do like wtf
