Baby proofing?

Have you guys started baby proofing cabinets/doors? What have you found that works?

Until my hubs gets around to installing the magnetic ones we bought I’ve been using scrunciis looped around twice for double cabinets with knobs. He rigs in them a few times and it gives me plenty of time to get to him before he starts really smacking them or endangering his fingertips. 
I mainly am just keeping a close watch over him. It’s just for a year or so right? 😆😆😆
Meanwhile…there’s no hope for the plantation shutters on every single window in the entire house. 🙄 he’s just going to have to learn finger safety and hopefully he doesn’t break any of them! 🤞

Seriously…he’s got lots of places to roam but the kitchen and bathroom aren’t one of them lol

Update: I’m loving the strap locks on our toilets with this baby. Installed them this week. They’re WAY better for toilets than the actual toilet safety latches, our guests never could figure out the lid lock system with our first babe. My clever little 4 year can undo it after a lesson with me but they’re absolutely baby proof. 👍👍

We’ve had stuff baby proofed as this little is our second, when we moved into this house my daughter wasn’t quite 2 and got into EVERYTHING. We needed to put a baby gate at the stairs though. My son does not like when mama and dada step away for a second, right now we barricade with laundry baskets and wipes boxes cause they’re heavy enough 😂

This the kind we have so you don’t see them. But let me tell you. It takes a good amount of time to remember they are there. There’s still times now that I open the cupboard and it closes on me because I forgot it was there 😬

We use those baby chains (the rainbow ones) two together one on each handle for under the kitchen sink, it slows them down enough that you can tell them not to play with it! Repetition works well!! Then I let her in the rest of the cupboards to play with the pots 😂

So far I’ve used the plastic bags to tie the knobs 😂 I was in target the other day forgot to. The only cabinet my daughter doesn’t open is the one where the snacks are at and my baking utensils

We had to do our kitchen cabinets about a month ago. Those are the only ones. I really wish I just friendly stuff in there that I didn’t need to baby proof them, oh well. Our other cabinets around the house are safe for him to explore so it’s just kitchen under sink with chemical and the glass Tupperware cabinet.
