Clotting

Hey girls! Maybe a little tmi but I’ve never had much experience with periods. I have been irregular my entire life and went an entire year, almost two without a period. Now I just started my period on Friday and normally I change my tampon every 6 hours because of how light my flow is, but this period has been insane. I have to change every 2-4 hours because it is soaking through. When I pull it out it’s full and covered in clotting and after sitting on the toilet for a few giant clots pour out as well. I’ve experienced minor clots but I’m not sure if I need to go the ER or something because it’s scary how big they are and frequent. Any advice? Warning I’ll post clotting in the comments.
