That color isn't considered normal but going to the ER isn't helpful. They can't do anything and they aren't trained in pregnancy. That early an US wouldn't see much. Keep an eye on it; watch for cramping, clots, and the bleeding getting heavier. I recommend setting up a follow up with your ob/gyn after the bleeding stops. They can't really tell you anything until then.

Update: My Obgyn called me back and prescribed me progesterone meds to help stop the bleeding. She said it’s normal to spot during the first trimester. She said to come in on Friday to do an ultrasound to make sure baby is safe and healthy.I just picked up my meds and took one.  Hopefully my baby will be ok 🙏🙏🙏 Please keep my baby in your prayers!! 😭😭😭

Normal? No, no bleeding is considered normal. However I wouldn’t go to the er, not much they can do. Do you have an OB? If so give them a call and see what they want you to do. Sometimes women bleed and go on to have normal healthy pregnancies, don’t worry yourself too much 💖

I can add I've had bleeding in both my pregnancies and I have one healthy 3 year old and I'm carrying a healthy 28 week old at the moment.

I have to wait 2 more days to get an ultrasound because her clinic is closed tmrw. She said to walk in for an ultrasound at 9am Friday.
