Irregular Cycles and TTC

Ever since I got on the shot about 15 years ago I had really no period whatsoever. Fast forward to about three years ago when I stopped, and after a good year and a half or so I finally got pregnant out of nowhere!!

My cycles were never regular. Never knew when I was ovulating unless I just took a random test.

Now that my daughter is almost two.. (I breastfed up until a few months ago) but my period has come back and I had a couple of regular cycles even while breastfeeding. Then POW back to spin the wheel.

My last period lasted almost an entire month and it was super heavy. And it was also about a couple weeks late (if I can even say that since it never shows up on time).

Well now after doing the deed. Here I am again in limbo but this time I’ve felt a bit more ick at random times of the day. My husband and I made the decision to start trying again. ( I’m still nervous about the whole sex thing still and have no libido ) but now I’m cramping and feeling slightly sickly.

I’m aware I should probably just test, as the app says I’m now 7 days late.

I guess I’m looking for similar period stories after having little ones. And if these symptoms line up with that of another horrible period, or if it lead to another pregnancy.
