Smelly postpartum

Did it smell down below postpartum. Even after shower it smell different than while pregnant or prior to pregnancy. Smells not fresh. Doctor checked up postpartum visit says everything looks healed but forgot to ask about smell part. Also checked for uti didn’t have that. I wonder if this is just the lochia smell or what, but I’m not bleeding anymore but don’t have normal cervical mucuous like during pregnancy and prior. Also I am breastfeeding. How to stop or limit the smell. Doesn’t smell fishy but literally like garbage or something super gross.
