Cat possibly ate newborn kitten?

My cat gave birth to 4 kittens and one of them was so fragile and small compared to the rest. I woke up this morning and the kitten was just gone. Could she have possibly ate it? And swallowed it with the bone and stuff? Or could the remains be somewhere in my house? I kept the 4 kittens in a box but I looked everywhere for that one kitten around the box and didn’t find it😖
