EBT for bakery items?

This may be a dumb Question but has anybody ever tried to pay for customized bakery items with their EBT card? I called and they said that it should work but I just don’t want to be embarrassed if it doesn’t. 😂 I live in AZ btw

It should work, yes. The bakery would definitely know, so I’d they say yes, you should be good. Usually EBT limits hot, cooked food.

My EBT works for any type of food except “Hot” food
Like subs, rotisserie chickens, fast foods etc
But surprisingly I can buy pre made sushi lol just found that out but yeah bakery items work, it also works for birthday cakes ☺️

It works for me at Walmart and tops when I order a customized cake, but I live in NY.
