Any advice is so appreciated

Hi guys so I was due my period 3 days ago but still no sign, I tested today and it was negative, the tests I use are discount store for €1.50 so I don't no if that makes a difference when testing early? Anyways I have such sever hunger pains the last few days like to the point I feel like I'm going to throw up even after I eat I'm getting it, I also kept getting hot flashes all day today, if I'm testing negative on day 3 of missed cycle does this mean I'm definitely not pregnant this time or is it too early still? Any advice is appreciated, I also can't be sure I was ovulating now on the days the calender says if I still haven't got my period am I right?
