uti and frequent bleeding?

hi everyone, i really need some advice on if anyone knows what’s going on or if this has happened to them. i just started my third week of the pill (tri lo marzia) and i’m not sure if this has to do with the bleeding or not. i started my period on the 1st and i also began having symptoms of a uti the same day. i’ve been doing everything i can do lessen the symptoms before going to a doctor (drinking plenty of water, peeing when i have to, cranberry juice). my period has always been 4 days and after the 4th day i’ve had very light bleeding but i assumed it was because of the uti. now i’m on day 8 of the uti and possibly my period, again i’m not sure except i am now bleeding heavily and with every wipe there is more dark res blood. does anyone maybe have an idea of what could be happening? thanks!
