cows milk

question.. does a child need cows milk ? i currently pump breast milk (baby is only a month old) but i was thinking about how they say after a year old a baby should start drinking regular milk. we personally don’t drink regular milk, instead we’ll use oat or almond milk. and the cows milk (my husband) drinks is lactose free and fat free anyways. so i was wondering if you absolutely should give your baby cows milk or if i can just continue with the breast milk until my child is only eating solid foods.
