Uti an home remedies? ??

Ok my s/o thinks I don't need antibiotics to clear up a uti an that there's home remedies to get rid of it has anyone ever herd of this coz last time a yr. Ago I tried an I had a uti for three months it was so bad I couldn't even walk an I don't have $250 to go to the doctors

Drink lots and lots of water, you want to flush the infection OUT. Think you can't possibly drink more water? Drink more. 
Drink cranberry juice that doesn't have sugar added to it (it will be gross, but it will help).
AVOID SUGAR AT ALL COSTS. The bacteria that is causing the infection feeds off of sugar, the more sugar you consume, the more the bacteria will thrive. Seriously, cut out sugar completely for a couple of days if you can.
Doing these three things should absolutely help your UTI in just a few days. However, if you notice blood in your urine or if you start to have severe back aches, you need to see a doctor ASAP, as these could be signs of a much more serious kidney infection.

U could try cranberry juice. Also if u have the urge to pee go the the bathroom even if its just a drop let it out its ur bodys way of trying to get rid of the infection. I would try that for a week and see if it works. But dont wait to long like u said i dont want the uti to get worse or spread.

Herbs, cranberry pills at Wal-Mart but helth food stores and some grocery stores sell herbs that they have a blend specifically for that.

I have regular uti's and have seen several doctors about it. I've heard it all!!  But the only thing that gets rid of it for me is antibiotics. If you try to ignore your symptoms in hopes that cranberry juice with get rid of it it will spead and to your kidneys and become a kidney infection. You don't want that! Make SURE it gets treated. Another user mentioned medicine you can buy in the store that turns your pee orange but that does NOT treat the infection it ONLY eases your symptoms  (burning while you pee) by numbing the urethra. I have never been able to find over the counter meds that actually treat the infection but that doesnt mean it dont exist.

Also if you do go to the doctors to get meds there are some that are pregnancy safe and others that are not. so if you are pregnant or trying to conceive make sure talk to you doc about it.

Here are some tips i have learned that can PREVENT uti's but not CURE them. 
-Lots of cranberry juice 
-Pee after sex. Every single time. 
-Wipe front to back and never back to front
-Summers Eve body soap for your sensitive ares. And Summers Eve personal wipes for after sex clean up. It's PH balanced and designed specialy for that area. 
-Yogurt. In some cases your body doesn't produce enough good bacteria to fight off the bad yoga has lots of good bacteria.

Stay away from sodas while you're trying to clear it up. Azo (the kind that turns your pee orange) works pretty good and flush your system with cranberry juice and water.

I drank alot of water and cranberry juice. Hot baths usually help soreness same with a heating pad. There is over the counter antibiotics for it at most drug stores.
