Hope the retrieval goes well. As H said, you are likely to feel worse (sore) for a few days afterwards. Drink plenty of electrolytes and fluids. I would recommend a stool softener because battling with bowel movements hurts. I also don’t want to scare you but after battling for a few days my symptoms got better almost overnight. The excitement of getting updates does help.
