My boyfriend's ex-girlfriend will periodically find a reason to speak with my boyfriend, whether it's a text message regarding old mail addressed to him that she would receive at her house or old joint accounts that he no longer uses, or trying to spark conversation whenever she sees him (and me) in town. My boyfriend ignores her for the most part (or gives a short, disinterested answer), but she is crazily persistent, as though she wants to win him back. Whenever he goes back to his hometown (where she is also from), I get kind of sketched out in fear of what her conniving mind might be coming up with. How do I mention to my boyfriend that I wish she could just disappear from our lives without seeming like a paranoid, distrusting, controlling girlfriend? Ignoring her doesn't seem to work.
