Did anybody get their period but days later get a positive pregnancy test?

Yes, it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. I had my period but then started spotting again a few days later, so I tested and got a positive. About a week later I tested and it was negative.

I really hope in your case it was implantation bleeding that was mistaken for a period. Baby dust!

My aunt didn't find out she was pregnant until she was in her second trimester because she had her period still :p

You don't have a period while your pregnant. Your body releases a hormone that stops you from ovulating while pregnant. It is or was your placenta. If it is too close to your cervix, it will cause you to bleed. That is why in one of the comments about the aunt bleeding for the whole pregnancy, it was probably that her placenta was very close or covering the cervix. You have to be very careful if this happens.
