I don’t want to have a baby shower

the main reason is because of certain family members who’s company really affects my mental health and They cannot, not, be invited.

We live in a different state from said family and my mom is begging me to let her throw me one she’s so upset that I don’t want to do it.

I offered to throw one for myself in our current homes state and I’d invite my friends.

But she said no that I have family who loves me there.

I just don’t feel that way and I don’t even want to visit my home town ever again.
