I received an email from the local school district saying they are offering a scholarship for a summer camp about an hour away. The camp is for ages 8-14. I have an 8 year old. I remember when I was younger I always wanted to go to summer camp but we couldn't afford it. I haven't thought about sending my kids to camp. Just wondering what your thoughts are on summer camp? It scares me a bit considering all the sickos out there. I'm not going to send her especially at this age but I also don't want her to miss out on things because I am scared. Would you ever send your kid to summer camp for 7 days?
