I have an almost 4 year old Corgi. He's just riddled with anxiety, barks at noises and my son. We decided to hire a behavioralist to help us navigate him.

I contacted a company, they asked a series of questions and matched me with a trainer. We saw great improvement after 2 sessions.

What I didn't realize was this trainer is very unprofessional in scheduling. 4 appointments, 1 late, 2 rescheduled and 1 cancelled. since March 8, we only saw her twice. She used every reason in the book. My car broke down, family emergency and I read my schedule wrong.

I've contacted the company in regards, in which I found out they are an umbrella they connect the client to the trainer. I requested a new trainer, or requested the remaining balance refunded to us. My biggest mistake was we paid her via Venmo.

I read the contract the trainer had me sign, from what I've read nothing is protecting her from me requesting a refund. Now the trainer has now ghosted me and I've left 4 msgs with the dispatcher of the umbrella company.

I've kept all msgs, emails... I don't want to post it on social media in fear that the trainer knows where we live. $1400 is a lot of money that we could have had great training for our dog.

There was a recent review that had a similar issue with scheduling, she hired her April 2021, but saw her only 3 times since.

My anixety is kicking in pretty hard as I'm not sure what to do. I feel very upset and stupid at myself.
