Stealthing

So I just wanted to talk about stealthing for a second.

About 2 1/2 years ago, I was hooking up with this guy in my apartment. Before we started doing anything, I made it very clear that a condom had to be used. A little time goes by, and its dark and I am laying on my stomach. The guy says that he took the condom off before continuing on. I froze up and didn’t know what to do. Right after the guy left, he blocked me on social media. A month goes by and I find out that I had chlamydia. It took almost 6 months for me to realize what happened to me was rape. I see a lot of comments saying “how can’t you tell the difference with whether a guy is wearing a condom or not.” Here is the thing, I can, but in that moment, I wasn’t exactly given the option. I couldn’t have gotten away since he was on top of me and I was on my stomach. To this day I still feel traumatized from this and am afraid to even interact with men in a sexual way. I just wanted to say that you aren’t alone in a situation like this.
