It is very very very much advised NOT to give Tylenol before any vaccines as it hinders any known side effects from the vaccines and decreases the effectiveness of them. Tylenol is ONLY to be given if a fever occurs after vaccine administration.

Tylenol won’t numb the pain when bub has the shot. And there’s a chance that it could mask a reaction to the shot (on the small chance there is one). 
You can give some afterwards if they’re unsettled, but don’t do it beforehand

I wouldn’t because they actually don’t have measurements labeled on Tylenol until 6 months I think so you would need to ask your doctor for correct measurements. And from my experience both kids never needed Tylenol, I would ask their doctor before giving anything.

Just comfort after. That’s what they want anyways. And if you breastfeed, offer the boob. Mine calmed down pretty quick afterwards. She did get a fever later on that night, which I gave her Tylenol for that the pediatrician prescribed. The fever broke immediately and didn’t come back.

I didn’t but my son didn’t get fever and he didn’t seem uncomfortable after the 20 seconds of initial crying after the shots. he was just tired that day and took a long nap. but we also don’t do them all at one time. We don’t give Tylenol unless baby has a fever over 100 or is visibly in pain. The dosing is by weight so you’ll need to ask your baby’s doctor for a dose if you need to give it.

My son got his 6month shots a week early and I couldn’t give Tylonel or Motrin. He reacted pretty bad and was VERY fussy. VERY uncomfortable. And I’m so much pain. I eventually just had to take a warm/hot shower holding him while he just cried and cried. He was like this 2 days after his shots but got better. He’s now 11 months and I give him half dose Tylonel before his shots and I immediately massage where he got his shots for a good 30 seconds. Yes he cries but he doesn’t get as sore.
