Chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage

Do other people find that healthcare professionals not count a chemical pregnancy at all?

I had one miscarriage at 6 weeks (went to hospital and had ultrasound) and one chemical/early before at 5 weeks (period late, positive test though fainter, few days later bleeding started, did test again a week later and definitely negative) and possibly another chemical now (faint but definite positive, 1 episode small bit of blood on wiping once daily for 3 days).

I had a baby after the last chemical and when they were taking my history of previous pregnancies told "oh if you never got an ultrasound it doesn't count" re the chemical/early.

It just upset me as once you see those lines your mind races and hopes go up, so even it they don't count as a "miscarriage " surely they should be acknowledged

They treat us as if we are making up the positive test. A few weeks ago I had to push for an emergency ultrasound at 5 weeks.

I think chemicals are not as common for the woman to know about as they seem on this app .. to a health professional if you took a test when you are meant to (after a missed period) then you would never catch a chemical .. its only after a period and a proper obvious line on a test that they would then class as a miscarriage.

I can't even imagine 😢.. I've never had a miscarriage or any issue .. I've been so lucky I fell 1st month with my 1st and 2nd month with my first .. I am an impatient person so I can't imagine how I would be if it wasn't happening .. lots of baby dust to you huni xxx

See the 'chemical' at 5 ish weeks wasn't counted but the one at 6 weeks, where I had an ultrasound, was. A bit upsetting rather than anything

Hmm that's odd, In UK you don't get a scan until 12 weeks and it would defo be counted a loss before 12 weeks, that's rubbish huni .. fingers crossed for a healthy baby soon 😘 x

Not at all counted, and some miscarriages they don't count for nothing
