So I just took my daughter to the pediatrician yesterday and she’s underweight. She’s 4 months old and only breastfeeds. We went over this during the last appointment with her being underweight and I tried formula (6 different formulas) she projectile vomited on every one of them. I don’t know what to do. He keeps telling me to try formula but I hate putting her through vomiting everything she ate that day.

I tried pace feeding, burping after every ounce, every half ounce, mixing a little formula with pumped breastmilk and every time she vomits. If she gets any formula in her stomach it comes back up. She doesn’t even spit up when she just breastfeeds.

She seems very satisfied when she is breastfeeding, like she’s getting enough she just isn’t gaining enough weight for the pediatrician’s liking. I took her to our family doctor and he said she is only 2 pounds under the “suggested” weight for a 4 month old.

I don’t know what to do anymore
