When did you have your housewarming party?

How long after moving in?
Okay, obviously this question is for those who actually had a housewarming party.....didn't think I had to say that lol

I moved in the middle of COVID, so l didn’t have one.

Moved in in Nov and didn’t have housewarming until June. My boyfriend had messed up his leg really bad and couldn’t walk for 7 months. Also had to do some updating and wanted to be able to use the patio for more space.

Still waiting to have ours due to Covid. Figured we would roll housewarming, baby shower, and wedding celebration (for those who couldn't come to the ceremony) all in together when the weather got a bit nicer.

We waited until we had fully unpacked and furniture was in the house. It’s really up to you though I’ve been to housewarming parties where there’s absolutely nothing in the house yet lol!
