Doctors changed my due date..?

Ok so my husband and I had been trying for about six months to conceive before I finally did. I have always had a spot on, extremely regular cycle. My period always came the EXACT day it was due every month and then obviously since we had been trying for 6 months, I knew EXACTLY when my LMP was...but after my first ultrasounds which was at about 6 or 7 weeks I believe they pushed my due date back a whole week! My LMP was April 6 which means my due date should be January 11th...but the doctor changed it to January 17th...please give me your opinions as to which one I should follow!? I also have a 4 year old that measured small the whole pregnancy and was born at 37 weeks 5 pounds 14 ounces so I think I just make small babies.

I wouldn't even worry about a due date, it's an estimated date. Baby will come when he or she is ready ☺️

The early ultrasounds are the most accurate for predicting due dates so I'd go by the due date you were given based on that early ultrasound. Even if you have regular cycles that doesn't mean you ovulate on day 14... could be you ovulated a week later and have a short luteal phase. Did you use OPKs or chart your BBT?

Mine was the 4 of January but now my dr changed it to the 1st

My doctor has changed mine multiple times back and forth between Jan 5 and Jan 10. So I stuck with the date of January fifth because that is the date I had originally had and told everyone when I announced on social media.

Mine changed from January 1st all the way to the 12th! I also was closely tracking my cycle because we were ttc for 9 months. I have been going by the date the doc gave me. I figure even if he comes closer to the 1st, it would be better than the constant questions you'd get from being "past due"

I would just go by whatever date the doctor gave you. My lmp was April 6th as well so my first estimated due date was also Jan 11, but after my ultrasound they gave me a due date of Jan 18. I ovulated later that month and you could have too. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter because baby will come when he/she is ready :)

Mine was changed by 10 days. I'm going by theirs for technical reasons. But in my head I've always felt it wrong. Since my husband has type 1 diabetes, it effects him sexually...so I know the day this baby was concieved since we only had sex once in the time frame and the due date they gave me puts my boldly positive hpt result at only 12 days past my last period. It just doesn't add up. But since I've had preterm labor issues that continue to flare up, we expect an early baby either way.

Same happened to me. My period made my EDD January 7 but the ultrasound made my EDD January 16. I changed my doctor bc I moved nd she's going with the 7th but when I got an ultrasound again they put in the 16th so I'm confused myself but when ppl ask me when I'm due I go with the 16th. He's measured small too. I'm just patiently waiting for whenever he's ready.

My LMP has my due date as January 27th but I had an emergency scan when I should've been 6w 6d and was dated as only just 5w and my due date was changed to February 9th. Then at my 12 week scan I went in expecting to be 11w 6d and was 12w 1d and my new due date was January 31st. Recently I've had a growth scan and I'm measuring almost a week ahead. So I wouldn't put much stock into due date changes. It happens because at one point a baby is measuring gestationally bigger or smaller. Mines measuring bigger even thou I know I conceived around a specific day, five or take 24 hours, because I only had sex once in that cycle lol as long as your doctors aren't worried about anything then it's fine x
