Uterine morphology/ovarian cyst with septation

Elisa • PCOS

I am 30 y/O and have been TTC….

I have been having lots of irregularities with my cycle and recently diagnosed with pcos.

Recently, I bled heavy for 16 days after ending Provera (to induce a period) and the doctor ordered an ultrasound.

The ultrasound results stated the morphology of my uterus is indicating a bicornuate, arcuate, or septate uterus. They haven’t told me which one but it also never appeared on any other ultrasounds I had in the past.

In addition, my left side is always bothersome and I’ve had increased left sided pain and the results showed a left adnexal mass on my ovary and it stated the cyst has septation and classified it as a category 1 lesion.

The left ovary dimensions are much larger than my right ovary and the left cyst is larger than my right ovary!!

Has anyone had experience with this? The doctor won’t discuss it over email and made an appointment but I can help but to worry! I had a chemical pregnancy in November of 2021. Could this have contributed to changes in my uterus?

Also, does anyone know what any of the ultrasound results mean or experienced anything similar? Any input is appreciated!
