I had the coil fitted in while thay was doing my c section an I've not had my first period yet but I've been told that the coil stops your period did it stop your periods while you was on the coil ?

With my mirena, I had super light periods when I first got my first one, and then I eventually had zero periods with it in.

If u have a hormonal coil, which are progestin only, then irregular bleeding patterns are the most common side effect. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding (including no bleeding at all), random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. It just depends on how ur individual body reacts to it.
