Postpartum preeclampsia?

Anyone struggling with postpartum preeclampsia? What were your symptoms and experience like? What were treatment options? How long did it take til anything was normal again, did it go away on its own?

Answer

I did with my second. 8 days postpartum. Blood tests confirmed. High bp through late pregnancy which rose more after delivery. Medicated and monitored closely for the first 6weeks. Medicated again for high bp 4 months postpartum. 4years on and haven’t been able to get rid of my  hypertension. Thankfully no organ issues so far

It took me 6 months to get rid of hypertension. I was put on 5 mg of amlodipine (lowest dose) and by 6 months pp, I was taken off bcs it made my bp low
