What is that red spot on my 2 month old baby?

Ive noticed that red spot getting bigger but don't know why. I touch it and it doesn't hurt him what can it be please help im a first time mom

It could be a strawberry mark. They typically growing the first few months and then begin to shrink. They usually completely disappear by age 2. They are harmless.

It looks like a hemangioma. Most are harmless and by the placement of that one, your baby should have no issues! My son has one on his scalp and it got very raised and red the first 6 months of life but now he’s 2 and it’s about 50% gone!

It’s a hemangioma. My son has a huge one on his stomach. It’s raised and super red. We went to his dermatologist and he gets timolol drops twice a day. It will go away in a year rather than when he’s 10 years old.
