So I naturally have a light brown hair color! Last Tuesday I got it dyed to a dark red, with demipermanent color. Im getting married in 50 days and my stylist did inform me I may want to touch it up before. Anyway, it is now Monday and I have washed my hair 3 times since getting it done. Every day that I have washed it the water is running out red in my shower. Is this normal?? Is there something I’m doing wrong and can someone explain to me why this is happening?

Red hair washes out quick. I used cold water only. I washed it only when I had to. I also bought semi permanent dye to add to my conditioner to add some color back in.

Reds seems to “bleeding” longer, especially when washing.

Yep, completely normal. I don't dye my hair with anything other than henna because every other dye type washes out.
