Anyone know anything about pharmacology?

If I have a .5 mg dose for an anxiety medication (clonazepam) that I use for flying, can I take 2 if I feel like one dose isn’t enough? Common dosage breakdowns are .5, 1, &2 mg so I know the active ingredient itself is safe in larger amounts, just not sure about pill binders and such. 
Yes i could call the pharmacy but I am pretty sure they would advise me against it since it’s just not exactly what my doctor prescribed. Flight is tomorrow so I don’t have time to get another prescription.

Are you flying alone?  If you’re flying alone I’d maybe try the dose out at home just to make sure it doesn’t knock you down too hard beforehand.  Definitely safe though, I’d just wanna see how it makes me feel first.☺️

Call your prescribing doctor instead of the pharmacy. Even though it’s a normal dose, it doesn’t sound like you’ve ever taken that much at once and a benzodiazepine can really fuck you up if you take more than your body is used to.

I have .5 of generic Xanax and I’ve had to take 2 when the anxiety is worse then normal. If 1 won’t do it for you you can take 2 but you most likely will sleep the whole flight lol and like the other comment said I wouldn’t drink otherwise you really will sleep the whole time 😂

Yes you can take too. Be prepared to possibly pass out lol. Don't drink or anything, but you'll be fine.
