Twinsomnia is real
Anybody else out there? 😵💫
My twins are almost 7 months (5 months corrected) their sleep has gone from bad to worse in the last month or two. First the sleep regression led to more night wakings, 30 min naps. Travelling, being sick. Now I’ve resorted to them both sleeping in my bed. And I get little to no sleep. I spend forever trying to get them in their own cribs but they’re waking every 45 min each sometimes. This extreme sleep deprivation for so long is really starting to get to me. They’re exclusively breastfed, don’t seem to be waking for hunger, but wanting to comfort nurse to sleep often. I keep debating sleep training but I don’t think I can handle their crying. It breaks my heart. I have a two year old who I slept trained at 6 months, but I have a soft spot for my preemie last babies. My partner tries to help but works early mornings and deals with my toddlers night wakings too. I’m just at a loss. Every night I just hope it goes better 😭
Anyone make it through this? What do you recommend? We already have them in separate cribs across the room from eachother, blacked out with sound machines beside each.
