When does second trimester start?

Am I hitting second trimester at 13 weeks or 14 weeks? Can’t wait for the piece of mind of miscarriage chance dropping low.

The Miscarriage rate drops when you complete week 12. So at 13weeks is when they consider it to drop significantly. Although it's not a sharp decrease like at 12+6 you still have a 25 percent risk and then one day later it's only 1 percent. 
Of you've had a scan already and saw a heartbeat, that already reduces your risk significantly. I think down to 7 or 5 percent? And that can be as early as 7 weeks. The it gradually goes down more and more. So if you're 13 weeks now, your risk is already very low.
