My sons father was a horrible abusive man. He raped and beat me. Then tried to sez traffic me and my son when he was 3... My sons therapist think he possibly has some sexual trauma. That I don't know about and he doesn't remember. My son was 6 when my husband came into pur lives. He was an absolute sweetheart and so kind. My son was still in pull ups at night at the time and I was a little embarrassing. My husband (boyfriend @ the time) found out and my little 6 year old found out he was super upset about it. My husband told him "Can I tell you a secret your mommy doesn't even know". He said okay and my husband said " I have an issue where my bladder is small. Probably about the same size as yours. And it's overactive which means I have to pee a lot and I sometimes wet the bed too". He told him he used diapers for bed and it made my son happy. I honestly though he was joking to make my son happy buy he told me he wasn't lying. He was just embarrassed and since we hadn't been dating that long he didn't want to tell me. Which of course didnt change how I felt about him. My son continued to wet into teenage hood and still does now and he's a sophomore on high school. Well the last few days our air conditioners hasn't been working and its been fucking hot! I walk around in a sports bra and boy shorts while my husband and son walk around I'm their boxers shirtless. Let me tell you if my landlord doesn't fix this I'm gonna be pissed off because we are DYING! It's 97 degrees here!

Anyway last night it was super late and my son and husband were both shirtless and wearing their protection pull ups and playing video games. I made a comment to my son about how comfortable he is to be half naked. And he goes "You're my mom and DAD!" After almost 10 years that's the first time he's ever referred to my husband as dad and I saw my husband tear up. He's been talking about it all day saying it took him almost 10years but he did it.
