I made a big mistake by hooking up with someone last night. I brought condoms and he refused then he stuck it in me without it for a minute then I pushed him off really hard and told him he needs to put the condom or else I’m leaving. Then we did have intercourse once I put the condom on him. I am so scared for my life now. I couldn’t sleep when I got home last night. I looked into PEP it’s an anti-viral drug that I’d have to take for 28 days to prevent HIV by 80%. I’ve known this guy mutually for about 5 years but I obviously don’t know his STD status. I messaged him this morning asking if he is sure he doesn’t have anything and he only responded good morning and recorded a video that he’s working. In this care would PEP be worth it? I really don’t know the chances with this guy. He has two young kids from different baby moms but the fact he is like this scares me now because I’ve always been very careful and mindful but this time I was vulnerable and was in a hard situation.
