Should I tell him?

Just said goodbye to my friend (was fwb but now just friends I guess) and I didn’t get the chance to say a few things to him. I’m debating if I should text him tomorrow.

I just want to wish him the best and the way I say it might be sappy, but I want him to know how much I appreciated having him in my life. I want him to know that I hope he finds joy and peace because he deserves it. That this goodbye isn’t really goodbye, it’s see you later.

So, should I tell him? Am I reading too much into it since what I want to say isn’t really anything suggestive?
