I was walking yesterday to meet my boyfriend in the city (I live 15min walk away). It was almost fully dark 8:30pm.

A guy approached me. At first I didn't respond but then he walked towards me walking and said "sorry can I ask you something?" introduced himself with his name and gave me a handshake (I was confused and automatically accepted the handshake) BAD idea I know!!!! I thought he needed directions because it's a common occurrence where I live.

Here's how it went after the handshake. ➡️➡️➡️

Me:"sure ask?"

Him: "what's your Snapchat or Instagram?"

Me:"I don't have one"

*I started turning away and walking away*

Him:"I really like you, can we be friends or hangout?"

Me:"No, do I know you?"

Him:"no, but I like you. Can we take a picture together?"

*looks at his friend in the parked car in the dark*

*at this point my knees felt like cut off, there aren't any people nearby and it's dark and there are lots of trees and no street light, I have social anxiety and i usually try to laugh out to escape a situation in a nice way. The guy was DEAD SERIOUS. I didn't want to be rude because I was so scared it was 2 of them and just me and they had a car ready*

Me:"no" and I'm side walking away and he puts few steps toward me.

Him:"not even 1 pic, please?"

"What's your name? "

Me:"it doesn't matter"

Then I DON'T KNOW WHY but I asked him "how old are you even?" (he looked younger than me)

He said "18 and you"

Me:"21"

Him:"can we get a selfie please? "

Me"no sorry bye''

This conversation lasted 2 minutes.

I called my boyfriend and he was supposed to meet me and he answer and on the video I see he's STILL with his friends,not even on his way toward me. On my way, the car drive by me few times (he turned around the car few times) and beeped once.

Then, we finally meet and he gets mad at me because I talked to that guy and called me dumbass, stupid, garbage girl and said I will throw this table at you if we weren't in public. He said the guy did nothing wrong and I should have ignored him and argued with him. I know I shouldn't have gave him handshake but as soon as I found out he liked me I wanted to turn away in the calmest way possible. I don't know if he's a maniac or what!!! There was 2 of them how can I know if they won't force me in the car and drive away??? I know I reacted poorly but I didn't deserve to be insulted by my boyfriend and he protected the other guy instead of me.
