My pediatrician recommended selsun blue for my toddlers cradle cap. She told me to leave it on her hair for at least 10 minutes every other day. It has selenium sulfide in it which I guess helps with that sort of thing. It worked for my daughter and actually made her hair grow better where it was thinning from her cradle cap. Of course you can always ask your pediatricians opinion and see what they say! Hope this helps.

I agree with the others - cradle cap. Try a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner and get a fine toothed comb which will gently scrape them off.
